Simons is a native of Milwaukee, WI and graduated from the University of Minnesota this spring. Simons was a consistent performer while at Minnesota and is excited to continue his success at ZAP-Reebok, “I’m very excited to start working with the ZAP-Reebok family. We share the same goals, values, and passion for running.” At Minnesota Simons was a 4-time All-American, Big Ten Champion, and 7-time All-Big 10 selection. During the 2013 indoor track season Simons secured his first All-American honor with a career best 5th place at the NCAA Championships in the mile. During the indoor season his senior year he was the Big Ten Champion in the mile and went on to place 6th at the NCAA Championships in the 3000m run to earn his 2nd All-American honor. Simons focused primarily on the 1500m during the outdoor track and field season where he placed 10th at the NCAA Championships as a junior and 7th as a senior. Simons comes to ZAP-Reebok with personal bests of 3:40 for 1500m, 3:59 for the mile, 7:52 for 3k, and 13:39 for 5k.

Andrew Colley comes to ZAP-Reebok from North Carolina State, a short three hour from the ZAP facility in Raleigh, NC. Colley is excited to move from the piedmont to the mountain for his professional running career, “I’m ecstatic about becoming a part of the ZAP-Reebok team. It’s a great group of people who I cannot wait to start working with.” Colley capped off one of the finest career’s in NC State history this spring where he was a 5-time All-American, ACC Champion, and 11-time All-ACC performer. As a redshirt sophomore Colley garnered his first All-American honor by placing 16th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. He went on to earn All-American honors both as a junior and senior, capped by his 7th place NCAA Championship finish his senior season. During his senior cross country season Colley was also the ACC Individual Cross Country Champion, crushing the field nearly 30 seconds. Colley is by no means a cross country specialist though, he earned All-American

Griff Graves has been training with the ZAP-Reebok team since the spring when he and his wife Cassie relocated to the North Carolina high country. We are excited to have Griff as an official member of the ZAP-Reebok team as we look forward to the 2016 Olympic Trials. Griff is a graduate of Syracuse University where he was a standout cross country runner, helping lead the Orangemen to a top 10 finish at the NCAA Championships in 2013 by virtue of his 55th place finish. A native of Abingdon, Virginia Griff is gearing up for fall road racing season and aiming toward the US Half Marathon Championships in Houston in January where he will be aiming for an Olympic Trials qualifying mark of 1:05:00.
