On ZAP Endurance athletes Tyler Pennel and Aaron Nelson will be celebrating this year’s July 4th by competing in the 50th anniversary edition of the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta. For Pennel the Peachtree Road Race is becoming a holiday tradition as this will be his 5th appearance at the historic event. Nelson will be racing the event for the first time, and both are coming off successful outings at the Litchfield Hills Road Race last month.
In Pennel’s 3 most recent appearances at the Peachtree Road Race he has notched two runner-up finishes along with a 3rd place finish from last year. This year’s race will not serve as the US Championships as it has in the past and will include not just some of the best runner’s in the US, but from around the world.
