In his first race back from a winter injury On ZAP Endurance veteran Tyler Pennel raced to a 4th place finish at the historic Litchfield Hills Road Race on June 9th. While Pennel lead the ZAP trio on the 7.1 mile course with his 4th place finish in 34:56 his teammates Josh Izewski and Aaron Nelson weren’t far behind.
Izewski and Nelson were the 6th and 7th finishers to cross the line, 2nd and 3rd among American finishers. Izewski ran 35:12 in his tune-up for Grandma’s and Nelson crossed the line in 35:40 on a warm, humid afternoon in Litchfield, CT.
Next up for Pennel and Nelson will be the Peachtree Road Race on July 4th in Atlanta!
