ZAP Fitness Adult Running Camps

Welcome to ZAP Fitness Adult Running Camps

Our goal with our ZAP Fitness Running Camps is to provide our campers with an intimate, informative, relaxing, as well as challenging running experience for all ages and abilities.  We offer both four day and week long running camps between June and August.  Each camp will cover the same range of topics with our full week camps offering a bit more flexibility and free time; perfect for relaxing and touring the surrounding areas.

It was so well organized and the balance of running and non-running activities was perfect. The trails were awesome and I got the do my first ever mountain hike/climb. The accomodations were clean, comfortable and convenient. I’ve told everyone that it was oddly strenuous, yet relaxing. I will definitely consider coming to camp again.”

June 12-15 Adult Running Vacation Weekend

Cost: $600.00

This weekend is a great way to kick off your summer training program and get you excited about the upcoming racing season. It is also an opportunity to simply relax and enjoy letting running be the focus of your day for this long weekend. This camp is perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike as we will provide challenging runs for all ability levels. As with all of our camps our goal is to create an informative and relaxing and running experience. Come join us for our Adult Running Vacation Weekend and kick start your training for the summer!

July 6-11 The Bear Week

Cost: $850.00 ($885.00 with the Bear, Thursday evening)

This years race week of running camp will give you plenty of opportunities for some new, fun and challenging running experiences. In addition to our normal camp week, Thursday night you will have the opportunity to run The Bear 5 Mile Road Race, which starts in Linville NC and ascends over 1500 feet to the top  of Grandfather Mountain. This is a race you will never forget. (Race entry is an additional $35). This full week camp gives you the opportunity to get all the running education we have to offer as well as time to relax and enjoy your time in the mountains.

Aug 7-10 Marathon Prep Mini Camp

Cost: $600.00

Planning on a fall marathon? Whether it is your 1st or your 10th this is the perfect  camp for you. Be it New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Twin Cities, Hartford, Steamtown  or the Berlin Marathon, this camp is designed to help    you set up your fall training and put you on the right track for a great marathon experience. During your four days at ZAP Fitness we will answer all your marathon related questions from nutrition to  mileage so you can train your best for the next 8-12 weeks.

This is a great opportunity for women to get together in a positive and supportive environment where campers will explore the sport of distance running. As with all of our camps our goal is to create an informative, relaxing and challenging running experience. This four day weekend is ideal for beginners and experienced runners who want to be empowered and excited about their running.

If you didn’t get the chance to make it to our Adult Weekend Vacation in June this camp will follow the same schedule and offer another option to relax and enjoy letting running be the focus of your day for this long weekend. This camp is perfect for beginners and experienced runners alike as we will provide challenging runs for all ability levels. Sept 11-14 September Marathon Mini Camp

Looking to make the most of your marathon training or simply learn more about how to best approach the even? This weekend in mid-September is another opportunity to kick off or put the final touches on your fall marathon training. In addition, for first timers, this weekend is an excellent introduction to this unique distance. We will answer all your questions from nutrition to mileage as well as share some tips on how to mentally and physically prepare yourself in the final weeks before the big day.
