McKaig arrives in Blowing Rock having completed an excellent collegiate career for both Michigan State and Indiana Tech. The Fort Wayne, IN native was 10th at the NCAA XC Championships while at Michigan State and won the NAIA XC Title while at Indiana Tech. McKaig has also run 16:14 for 5,000m, 33:47 for 10,000m at 1:14 for a ½ marathon.
