Warrenburg is in his 2nd year as ZAP Fitness’ Director and is entering his 6th year as ZAP’s assistant coach director of private coaching. Before coming on the coaching staff Warrenburg spent 4 years as a resident athlete in the program. The former Arizona State University All-American brings a wealth of knowledge to the ZAP coaching staff including a great degree of technical knowledge in the area of biomechanics and strength training. In his role as Director Warrenburg plays an integral role in fundraising, group bookings and management as well as overseeing the day to day operations at the facility. Warrenburg is also in charge of ZAP Fitness Coaching, working with athletes of all ages and abilities from around the country. During his time heading up ZAP Fitness Coaching Warrenburg has coached dozens of athletes to personal bests, Boston qualifying performances, and personal breakthroughs. As a resident athlete Warrenburg saw great success including a win at the 2007 USATF Club XC championships. He was also a finalist at the 2009 USATF Championships in the Steeplechase where he placed 7th. Warrenburg is a USATF Level 1 Certified coach and received his M.B.A. from Appalachian State University in 2013.
